Experience / Racing
History |
Raced Mini 7 in 1973-80.
Bought my current car in 1981 and first raced it in 1983. Led the B-Sport
championship at the halfway stage in 1990 but eventually finished 4th. Had
a long break between 1991 and 1998 with a new daughter, two years in the
US and fours years studying for a degree. Returned to Classic Clubman's
in 1998 |

Vehicle History |
Not sure of the original
owner. Colin Fisher bought it in 1979 and then replaced it with a Mk.23
(fool!) in 1981. I bought all of the bits he didn't want for his Mk.23 and
finally got sufficient money together to race it for the first time in 1983 |
|
Crew / Assistance |
In 2001 - Mick and James
Rowe. (Father and son). Best mechanics I've ever had.! Sue does the race
reports (I'm not sure if that is a positive or a negative!) |
|
Sponsors |
None (Other than my wife!)

|
Other Interests |
Skiing (when I can afford
the money). Golf (when I can afford the time) Running (To keep me fit for
everything else I can't afford) |
|
Ambitions |
To have enough money to do
it properly. Although if I had enough money, I'd probably have a crack at
A-Sport |
