Experience / Racing History Sprinted and Rallied Mk2 1300 Cortina from 1973 to 1976 - RETIRED (Lack of time and money). 1992 brought Drat and destroyed engine at the first sprint - RETIRED (Lack of money). To avoid compulsory ARDS training I borrowed brother Andy's Mallock 11/14 and raced in 750MC F1300 at Snetterton in August 1992 and won the Driver of the Day award (it's gone downhill ever since!). Then competed in Drat until 1996 and achieved highest race position of 7th and sprint Class win

 - RETIRED (Lack of time).

Returned to competition in 2002 in the Classic Clubmans Championship and currently have the dubious honour of polishing the “Keith Messer Cup” once a month as World European British F1300 Champion.

Favourite Circuit / Why? Cadwell Park because 10 laps there is like one at the Nurbergring

Vehicle History Recycled bits from earlier Centaur/Hudson. Built and raced by Chris Cooper in 1980/81 as sister car to Chris Denham's 'Dris'. Competed in 750MC's Formula 1300 championship in the hands of Mark (Bluebelle) Ferguson, John Drinkwater and Pete Saunders before  reverting to its original name under my ownership.

Ambitions

As reigning F1300 Champion my ambitions have all been realised so it only remains to “Live life, live long and be happy” -and finish in front of Doris Wells!
